Commissioned to mark the history of the site of a housing development in Edgware, North London. The site had been home to the Stag Lane aerodrome and De Havilland aircraft factory from 1915 to 1934. I worked with two local Primary Schools, one on landscapes and the other on biplanes. Elements form the landscape collages were cast in concrete and the profiles of bamboo biplanes were cut out of stainless steel and mounted above the entrances to the new housing blocks.
